Dr. Irma Iskandar

Dr. Irma Iskandar is a board-certified periodontist dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy gums while restoring the health, function, and beauty of their smiles. With more than 15 years of experience in periodontics, she specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of gum disease, as well as surgical periodontal care and dental implant placement. Her approach combines advanced clinical expertise with a gentle, personalized approach to patient care.

Dr. Iskandar earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Florida before completing advanced training in Periodontology at The Ohio State University, where she also earned a master's degree. She is board-certified by the American Board of Periodontology, reflecting her commitment to advanced knowledge and professional excellence. Through continued education, she stays current with evolving research and techniques to provide thoughtful, evidence-based periodontal care.

Her clinical expertise includes the treatment of periodontal disease, gum recession, and other conditions affecting the supporting structures of the teeth, along with dental implant placement. Dr. Iskandar takes the time to understand each patient's needs and concerns, developing individualized treatment plans designed to support long-term oral health and comfortable, confident smiles.

Outside the office, Dr. Iskandar enjoys reading, studying Spanish, and backpacking in the wilderness. She also loves spending time with her family and her chocolate Labrador, Nattō, whose name is inspired by the Japanese dish.
